Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
Town: Berwick is England’s most northerly town and changed hands 13 times whilst the English and the Scots fought for around 400 years for control of the Borders! The history is delightfully shown in the town’s museum. Nowadays this small coastal town retains much of its charm, with quaint narrow streets enclosed within great Elizabethan walls, fortified with bastions, built against attacks in the 1500s and walks along these offer spectacular views over the coast and river estuary to Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island.

This is a fantastic holiday property and has everything you could need. The house is really comfortable and cosy and perfectly situated to explore Berwick. Parking is easy and although the house is only a few minutes walk from the town centre, the surrounding area is very quiet. Would definitely recommend!
