This sturdy cottage has one double bedroom, a traditional open fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and an upstairs bedroom with single beds (restricted headroom and requiring nimbleness re access). Its quirky character is part of the cottage's charm - suitable to holidaymakers keen on simple living.
Fully furnished, with a video for DVDs, Washing machine, Fridge, Electric cooker, and Broadband internet. There is a parking area for 2 cars opposite the cottage.
Situated in the unrivalled Gwaun Valley, the cottage is backed by steep-sided oak clad valleyside, and a bubbling stream flows beside the property. Secluded garden with hanging line, seats, table and barbecue. Very quiet, protected and peaceful, with pubs about 1 mile in either direction (one of them well known: 'Bessie's') beaches including Newport Sands, 3-5 miles, legendary Pembrokeshire coastal walks, fishing, fresh water and sea. For active living, or just enjoying your leisure, it makes for an unforgettable holiday experience.
Beside the Pembrokeshire National Park, and in a protected site of Special Scientific Interest, the Gwaun Valley abounds in wildlife and interesting insects. A small and beautiful river flows down the valley, with Brown Trout. On blowy days, the valley tends to be warmer than upland areas.
