You'll absolutely love this quiet, quaint get away from a long day Downtown Nashville. Located perfectly in the peaceful borough of Old Hickory, this beautiful 1 bedroom 2 bath, comfortably sleeps 6 and has a private front and back porch for a total get away. Only 13 miles from Downtown Nashville and 6 miles from the Hermitage, you can't go wrong spending your vacation, or maybe even stay-cation right out here in Old Hickory. You'll love the proximity to the water and some great restaurants!
The Space
My home is a duplex that has an (A) and a (B) side. This particular part of the home is the (B) side and comes fully furnished with 1 queen bed and 1 queen sleeper/sofa. Located out in Old Hickory - you're the perfect distance between Downtown Nashville and a relaxing get away. With free, private parking - my home also features an outdoor charcoal grill, front and back porch and a fully stocked kitchen for those that want to stay in.
Guest Access
Guests will have complete access the side (B) which features their own private front and back porch and the 1 bd 2 bath home with large living space and full kitchen.
Other Things to Note
This home is a duplex, however only (B) is used for vacation rentals. Please be respectful of our long term guest in unit (A).
COMMUNICATION
My preferred form of communication is through Homeaway email. The Homeaway app has been added to all the personal and business devices for myself and my assistant, therefore, in an emergency everyone is notified immediately. You are welcome to call our business phone first but please follow up with an email so that the first one available can respond to you as soon as possible.
AGE REQUIREMENT
All individuals booking or staying on our properties must be at least twenty-four (24) years old. If you or one of your guests is not twenty-four (24) year old it is grounds for eviction and will result in the loss of your security deposit. This is strictly enforced and you will not be admitted into the building with underage guests. We do make an exception for families with children, twelve (12) years or older, as they will be accompanied by a parent.
SMOKING
We have a zero tolerance policy for smoking. This is strictly enforced, if we smell smoke in the unit it is grounds for eviction and will result in the loss of your security deposit along with an additional cleaning fee and fine of $250.00.
PARKING
Each unit has one off the street parking space. There is NO extra parking without prior approval. Trailers, campers, and UHauls are NOT permitted on the premises without prior approval.
PETS
We have an absolute NO pets policy. Pets are not allowed under any circumstances. If it is determined that a guest violates this policy a fine of $250 will be charged to the guest and the guest will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
WATER HEATER
Each unit has its own water heater. If you have the maximum number of guests for your unit you will go through hot water faster. Running the laundry, the dishwasher and long showers will affect your hot water supply.

HEATING / COOLING
For the best results with the heating and cooling, the unit should be set on “Auto” and then adjust the temperature to your preference. The unit is sufficient to cover a square footage larger than the apartment so there is no problem reaching your desired temperature.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is stocked with dishes, coffee filters, two bottled waters, dish soap, paper towels, cleaning rags, and sponges for your convenience. The kitchen has a fridge, oven, stove, dishwasher, sink and stack washer-dryer. Please feel free to use these appliances as needed.
FIRE EXTINGUISHER
The fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen under the sink.
BREAKER BOX
Should you trip a breaker during your stay, the breaker box is located in the kitchen behind the fridge. Do not run multiple hair dryers, curling irons, heat rollers simultaneously or you will trip breakers.
WASHER/DRYER
Laundry detergent is not supplied but please feel free to use the washer and dryer if needed. For maximum results, please do not overload the washer or dryer and clean the dryer screen with every use.
BATHROOM
Extra toilet paper is located under the sink. Also, you can find cleaning supplies under the bathroom sink should you need to clean anything in the bathroom. Please feel free to use the hair dryer located on the shelf in the bathroom as well. Do not run multiple hair dryers, curling irons, heat rollers simultaneously or you will trip breakers.
TV / CABLE / FIRE STICK
Each unit has one television in the living room. The television has basic cable set-up for your convenience. If you would like to access your Netflix or Amazon accounts, please feel free to use the provided Amazon Fire Stick.
CLOSETS
You can find extra sheets, blankets, an iron and ironing board in the master closet.
EXTRA GUESTS
In an effort to be respectful to all guests staying in the building regarding noise we have enacted a restriction on the number of guests allowed in each unit. If you have more than 4 guests in your unit, without prior approval, it is grounds for eviction and will result in the loss of your security deposit. This is strictly enforced and you will not be admitted into the building with unregistered guests.
