Salkeld Cottage is just outside the village of Gilcrux, which is situated between the beautiful Solway coast and the Lake district national park, ideal for walkers and pet owners.
There is a dog friendly pub in the village within walking distance, which serves great food.
The cottage is part of a barn/stables conversion along with 5 other cottages which all only accommodate 1 couple each.
It features an open fire, four poster bed and a steam cubicle.
Guests can privately hire the hydro therapy hot tub for an additional charge of £15 for a 45 minute session.. Total relaxation.

Absolutely fantastic stay, just what my partner and i needed, checkin spot on Jo was a delight very helpful yet not over powering the perfect tranquil retreat jaccuzi was lovely and warm and very relaxing. Facilities was everything we needed and the location and peacefulnesswas just what the doctor ordered thanks Jo x

Jo was on hand to greet us when we arrived. The initial emails were helpful for our travel preparation and the welcome packet was straight forward.
