The lodge is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need.
The area is lovely and close to Kendal (about 16 miles).
The inside of the lodge is decorated lovely and well laid out, and the beds were super comfy.

Very well maintained lodge on a small site of 6 in rural location. Wide range of kitchen equipment and the supplied essentials were really useful. Overall a great place to stay.

The Herdwick lodge was lovely, spacious and cozy. There were plenty of kitchen supplies for 6 people to cook, though I would suggest bringing additional bin bags as we only had one. The hot tub and fireplace were straightforward to use. The showers did run out of hot water if 6 people showered conse...
