This charming home from home is less than two minutes walk from the sand dunes (a National Nature Reserve ) with endless possibilities for long or short walks.
The beautiful sandy beach is a firm favourite with families in the summer but is great for visits at any time of the year.
During the winter months, the famous Horsey seal colony extends from neighbouring Horsey to Winterton and there are numerous seal pups on the beach and in the sand dunes.
The area is also home to the Little Tern and the Natterjack Toad. There is lots to see and do in the area... Historic Norwich is 22 miles away with the best shopping in East Anglia. Great Yarmouth is 9 miles away and a lively seaside resort with plenty to occupy the family.
Finally, the famous Norfolk Broads are literally just down the road! Our recently refurbished cottage sleeps 6 in two King-size double bedrooms and a twin bedroom.
We have decorated and furnished it with great care so that it is comfortable, welcoming and tranquil. The top floor bedroom has a king sized double bed with a view of the sand dunes.
There is an en-suite bathroom as well. On the first floor, the main family bathroom is shared between the spacious master bedroom (with skylights for star gazing) and the good sized twin bedroom. On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen with toaster, microwave, electric hob, built-in oven, dishwasher, washer-drier, and large American style fridge-freezer. The dining area has seating for six and leads into the comfortable lounge area with TV, books and games. Wifi is free and super fast. There is also a downstairs cloakroom and toilet. The fully enclosed back garden is a private and secluded suntrap with garden furniture and Mediterranean plants.

Superb location close to sea in a quiet welcoming village. House had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the well designed garden.

Property is lovely and location is wonderful. Short walk over the sand dunes to a beautiful sandy beach. Very dog friendly. States 2 baths, but unfortunately only one has a shower. Downstairs is also a bit small for 6 adults but probably fine if some are younger children. Enclosed courtyard garden is a lovely sun trap. Would definitely recommend.
