This property was spacious, comfortable, clean and welcoming, with lovely views over the countryside, a perfect combination after a busy day exploring the area. The owner, Helen, was very pleasant and overall we had a lovely stay and would be very happy to go back again.

The owner was lovely & welcoming. Cottage is sweet & well equipped. I did bring 6extra cooking dishes simply because Christmas foods demand a lot. It worked out very well & only took me 2 hrs to prepare 14 items for Christmas dinner (3 people), from start to finish with most of it done in the oven & the use of three out of four hot rings on hob. Brilliant.

A lovely welcome from Helen to a spotlessly clean home from home. Very comfortable beds ensured a great nights sleep. Everything we needed for a fab week in Cockermouth which we loved
