Its surroundings, towards the mountain, are interesting for some caves and for traces of prehistoric settlements.

The mountain, slightly over 1000 m high and 20 km long, is a major attraction for those who wish to explore the pastoral and wild interior of Sardinia, including extensive forest formations and enormous moon-rock formations.

In recent decades, Siniscola has gained significant appeal due to the beauty of its coastlines, between Capo Comino and Punta la Batteria.

The main town is La Caletta, a famous holiday resort also equipped with a good pleasure and fishing port.

Large beaches with fine sand and green pine forests characterize the low coastline.
