This beautiful vacation home enjoys an ideal location on the Kysing Næs peninsula south of the big city of Århus. The garden is adorned with flowering hedges and old fruit trees and here you will always find shelter from the wind. The wide, child-friendly sandy beach is equipped with a bathing jetty. Here it is not difficult to combine sporting activities such as beach and water sports with nature and cultural experiences. It is only about 10 km to Århus, the vibrant Jutland capital, where there is always a lot going on, on stages, in galleries or museums. Furthermore, it is fun to look around in the numerous small boutiques with exclusive design. The student quarter behind the beautiful cathedral has a special atmosphere and is where you will find the most sophisticated antique stores. The museums are a chapter in themselves. Here you'll find Den Gamle By, the Danish Provincial Museum, with 75 buildings from all over Denmark, and here the new ARoS Art Museum displays art of international standing. The Danish Poster Museum has an impressive collection of posters from around the world, and rare in the world, the Danish Women's Museum documents the life and work of Danish women in more recent times. On the southern outskirts of the city, the extensive beech forest stretches its mighty roots to the beach and offers the most beautiful viewpoints and hiking trails. Here you will also find Marseligsborg Castle, whose park is open to the public when the royal family is not at their summer residence. In the Moesgård Museum, beautifully situated on the edge of the forest, you can hear the history of Denmark from the Stone Age to the Viking Age and see the 2000-year-old bog body, the Grey Bale Man.
