The social element continues as you step outside the back door into large courtyard overlooking woodland with outdoor sofas and chairs where, on longer days, it is lovely to relax in front of the feature outdoor fireplace, with drinks and fizz!

A choice of three boutique luxury bedrooms leave guest spoilt for choice – all are beautifully furnished with luxurious beds, high quality Egyptian cotton linen, fluffy towls and ensuite facilities to ensure they are the most welcoming retreat at the end of the day. The ground floor has a kingsize bedroom and is complemented by a smart ensuite shower room. The two first floor bedrooms are presented as a kingsize and supeking; one with ensuite shower room and the other with a corner bath. What a find! A beautiful house, the location was superb, far enough away from the centre of the town to be peaceful but just a few minutes walk to all the amenities of the town. The house has everything you might need, including a Nespresso machine! The Angel is just a few minutes down the road and is very welcoming and super dog friendly. I cannot complain about anything!!!

Very difficult to fault. Excellent communications before and during stay, property was described to perfection.Great location, the hill up to the property was a little steep when walking but nothing unexpected and was good exercise. Outside seating area was very pleasant and ample parking at the front.

We stayed at Lexington House for 7 days. The property is very clean, well appointed with a fully equipped kitchen. It is an easy stroll into Bowness for shopping and restaurants.
