Description:
Whether you're seeking the perfect base to explore the Cotswolds or a peaceful retreat to spend time with family and friends, our Grade II listed townhouse is the ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy the local area.
Nestled in the heart of the historic market town of Woodstock, our stunning seven bedroomed manor house is the perfect place to gather your loved ones and enjoy a relaxing weekend break in the countryside.
Being a Grade II listed property, Woodstock Manor exudes character and charm. This historic property was even reportedly the birthplace of Edward of Woodstock, also known as The Black Prince!
Retaining many of its original features, including a large inglenook fireplace with a flagstone hearth, studded oak doors and exposed beams, the house is steeped with character and history. With comfortable, stylish decor and ample amenities including a large garden and fully-equipped kitchen, our holiday let is the perfect space to switch off and relax.
The Space:
The house offers 5000 sq.ft. of impressive living and entertaining space for up to 18 guests (14 +4). All 7 bedrooms are generous in both size and character, which are offered alongside 4 bathrooms, three reception rooms, dining room, kitchen, and a large garden with terrace.
The property borders Blenheim palace (there's a secret footpath entrance just 100m from the house) with its stunning views and extensive grounds. Oxford City Centre, The Cotswolds, and Soho Farmhouse are within easy reach, while the nearby rail station offers direct trains to London in under an hour.
Guest Access:
Woodstock Manor has its own private driveway and parking for up to 5 cars with additional parking in the barn next to the gate if necessary. The property also includes a large back garden. The gate at the bottom of the garden gives you easy access to Woodstock and the Blenheim palace gate.
Check-in time is from 3pm and check-out time is before 10am. Contactless check-in and check-out via key safes.
Guest Contact:
Our team is available to reply to messages and confirm reservations during office hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM). If you’re staying with us and need assistance, you’ll find an emergency contact sheet inside the property. If your reservation request expires, the dates will appear as blocked on our calendar until we manually release them, so they can’t be booked elsewhere in the meantime; so don’t worry, your dates are safe and we’ll get back to you as soon as we’re back online.
Additional Information:
If you are bringing dogs, please add them to your booking (there is a £65 fee to cover the additional cleaning required).
On booking this property, you can also enjoy access to both the tennis court and outdoor heated swimming pool facilities at Worton Park in Cassington, approx. a 10 minute drive away. Please note these are available on a seasonal basis (usually May-September); pool opening times also apply.

Central heating instructions would be useful. We had quite a few large wasps appearing from somewhere on the top floor. The gate at the bottom of the garden cannot be used as the sunken wall is blocking it. Apart from these small issues we had a wonderful stay.

Woodstock manor was the perfect place for our families from the USA,Spain and the UK. The accommodation was excellent and the house well equipped for all 18 of us! The Americans couldn’t believe that they stayed in a house that was older than their country!!
