Visiting Blakeney is like stepping back in time as little has changed and the whole area is just beautiful. The quay itself is a draw for locals and visitors alike and here you can enjoy the traditional Norfolk pursuit of crabbing or take a boat trip out to see the seals (seasonal). Travel east or west from here and you will find a string of pretty coastal villages and towns all waiting to be explored, with a wide variety of seaside habitats including marshes, quays and wide sandy beaches.
Visit Wells-next-the-Sea and see the boats bobbing on the quay or take the narrow gauge railway down to the beach, which you will find adorned with candy coloured beach huts. Head further still and enjoy all the traditional seaside pursuits in abundance at Hunstanton, including a Sealife Centre and a small funfair. Eastward bound lies Cromer with its Edwardian seafront and famous pier. Here you will also find Amazonia Zoo. In under an hour, you can also be in the heart of the stunning Norfolk Broads or exploring the medieval city of Norwich, but to return after a days sightseeing to gorgeous Greenrush Cottage? Now that’s a real treat! Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Overall Greenrush is a great base for a holiday. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen well equipped and lots of places to spend time as a family. Downsides are the steepness of the stairs, shower is okay and the parking is very tight. Park in the village hall instead. Beautiful location, good accommodation and lovely local pub.

Fantastic location. Comfortable beds and everything you need.
Parking is quite tight - good job you don't need to use your car very much, since there are good walks and pubs nearby, and access to the coast pat is unrivalled.
Downstairs bathroom means it isn't perfect for all.

Well equipped cottage with a fantastic position for walking the coastal path. Lovely decor and a great social space in main cottage. Stairs very steep and narrow so care needed by all.
