A well equipped kitchen can provide you with a hearty meal to start your day, or for the romantics, breakfast in bed in the sumptuous double. There are two further bunk beds are at the far end of the pod. A shower room with heated towel rail is on hand to revive and refresh before you head out for the day.

For walkers, the tranquil northern fells are ideal to get away from the crowds, or it is a short drive to the unspoilt coastline, 16 miles away. Historic Carlisle and Hadrian’s Wall are just over half an hour away, whilst nearby village of Caldbeck, 3½ miles, has a shop, pub and restaurant. Beach 17 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3½ miles.

The check in process was very quick and easy. The lodge was lovely and cosy, very clean. The hot tub was very clean and well maintained. The location is lovely and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing break, well maintained site and a nice on site trail for walking the dogs. All the staff are absolutely lovely, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely want to stay here again!

Perfect little cabin for a break, excellent wifi as we were working away, very easy for our dog with a gated area and a nice field next door.
