CASALE SAN BENEDETTO: NATURE, SUN, FOOD, WINE, RELAX, SILENCE, ART and ANCIENT TRADITIONS.
Casale San Benedetto is immersed among the gentle and green Umbrian hills in a condition of total peace and tranquility but at the same time it is located a few km from the main services and the highway with which you can reach the main historic cities, the most beautiful landscapes and natural features of the region. It is about 16 km from Perugia and about 34 km from Assisi. It enjoys a panoramic view of an uncontaminated valley dominated by the village of Civitella Benazzone and a luxuriant vegetation that creates a suggestive setting. The atmosphere, tranquility, silence and serenity that you breathe are those of other times: Casale San Benedetto is the perfect place to rest, live the days with slow rhythms and enjoy nature, sun, food and silence.
The structure, built in stone around 1500 with extensions of 1668 and 1847, has been recently renovated respecting the original architecture, it has large spaces (250 m2 on two floors) and large natural wood windows; even the wardrobes, bedside tables and tables were made by local craftsmen who work the wood according to the Umbrian style and tradition. The farmhouse consists of 5 bedrooms all with mosquito nets, air conditioning and private bathroom inside the room (toilet, bidet, sink, shower), there are also a living room with fireplace, a TV room, a dining room with a large table, a large kitchen that maintains the original 500 year old architectural structure equipped with a big refrigerator (276 L refrigerator+114 L freezer), an electric oven, hob with 5 burners, kettle, microwave, toaster, moka coffee maker, espresso and american coffee machine, dishwasher. Free wifi internet. Outside the cottage there is a pergola with a large table for eating, a large barbecue with a wood-burning oven for cooking roasts and pizza and a large (13 x 5 m) swimming pool with infinity edge. Private parking inside the property.
AROUND: A few kilometers there are the main services (bar, supermarket, pharmacy, wine shop, butcher, restaurant, ATM), about 6 km there is a tennis club with tennis and padel courts, less than 20 km there is a beautiful golf court and a stables (horse riding) . Other distances: airport (16 km), Perugia (16 km), Umbertide (16 km), Montone (25 km), Assisi (34 km), Gubbio (38 km), Città di Castello (39 km ), Orvieto (89 km), Spoleto (70 km), Bevagna (48 km), Montefalco (60 km), Todi (56 km), Spello (36 km), Deruta (30 km), Lake Trasimeno (38 km) , Norcia (99 km), Sansepolcro (53 km), Cortona (55 km), Tuscany (30 km), Val D'orcia (109 km), Florence (165 km), Rome (180 km). Possibility of trekking and horseback riding, rental mountain bikes and electrice bikes.
EXPERIENCES: we offer our guests various experiences with the aim of making them discover and learn about the local culture: Umbrian dinner (the most requested) made with local km zero (zero-mile) food products, homemade pasta course or cooking class, tailor-made tours of wineries and olive oil mills with tastings of Umbrian wines and olive oil and discovery of the fantastic umbrian villages, pizza evening, professional tourist guides, relaxing or shiatsu massages, also experiences and services on request, etc., ask for more details.
SUSTAINABILITY: we care a lot about sustainability, we only work with local companies, we pay a lot of attention to waste recycling through separate waste collection, we plan to make the structure energy independent in the coming years, probably from next summer we will be able to produce hot water via solar panel.
SAFE HOLIDAYS: We implement all the necessary procedures for the safety of our guests and ours. Hygiene has always been one of our strong points, for cleaning we rely on a cleaning company that works in compliance with the latest safety and hygiene regulations that uses cleaning procedures and products in order to obtain maximum hygiene of the environments.
INCLUSION: everyone is welcome, we make no distinction regarding age, ethnicity, sex, religion, state of health, etc...
THE PRICES INCLUDES: private use of the entire property, clean farmhouse just arrived, clean linen just arrived, free wifi internet, utilities (water - gas for kitchen use - electricity), swimming pool (from May to September).
The price does not include heating/air conditioning, they are on consumption (no group of guests spent more than €50/week using a/c appropriately)

Beautiful property, enjoyed some time at the pool and taking walks on the road, visiting nearby winery. Our family loved visiting all the nearby villages.

Enjoyed a lovely stay! Very spacious and clean. Grounds are beautiful, flowers and vegetation. Pool was pristine! All the bedrooms with en-suite baths, perfect! Mateo assisted his Mother with a special dinner prepared just for us! In addition, we had a “master class” in pasta making at the villa! Plenty of room for a family or couples traveling together. Recommend without hesitation!
