The cottage is situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park in the heart of the famous Three Peaks Pen-y-Ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside, offering some of the finest walking country in the UK . Settle to Carlisle railway runs near the cottages, station being only 10 minutes walk away.
The attractive town on Settle, 6 miles away and the picturesque Dales town on Hawes 15 miles away.
The area is also well known for its Pot Holing, Alum Pot being 3 miles.
White Scar Caves and Ingleton Waterfalls being a shot car journey.
The village has two puiblic houses, The Crown and The Golden Lion both within walking distance.
The beautiful St. Oswald church is at the south end of the village and is well worth a visit

A cosy ,large, well equipped cottage in a fabulous location , to explore the Yorkshire Dales. There was everything you would need in the cottage . The beds were really comfortable and the views are amazing. There are great pubs to eat in a short distance away .

We had a power cut one evening and the lady who runs the cottage very kindly brought round lights and hot soup - with that and beer, bread, cheese and red wine we had a great evening:-)

This property was great value for money and was very comfortable for the four of us. Its two showers came in very handy, the kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was really comfortable.
