Pine Lodge is one of 6 properties at Low Alwinton Cottages; three 200 year old stone built cottages and 3 Scandinavian log cabins. All are individually styled with private enclosed gardens and off road parking.
 
This pretty Scandinavian Style wooden lodge sleeps 4 people. The bright accommodation is all on one level with an open plan living/dining and kitchen area. Both bedrooms are comfortably furnished and the bathroom comes complete with a bath and separate shower. Doors open onto a private deck area with table and chairs - the views from here are stunning and extend towards Harbottle Forest and the Cheviot Hills - a peaceful spot for relaxing with a coffee or a glass of wine.
 
The Northumberland National Park is a haven for wildlife with black grouse, ospreys and otters can be spotted along the the river.. Northumberland is home to more castles and fortified houses than any other region in England. Alwinton is a short drive to the thriving market towns of Rothbury, Alnwick and Morpeth. All three towns have an excellent range of amenities to stock up on provisions or dine out. Alnwick has a magnificent castle to explore and the Alnwick Gardens are great for a family outing.
 
Pine Lodge is a great base for walkers, cyclists and stargazers… the area is Europe's largest 'Dark Skies' area.

Outside: private enclosed garden with decking area, table and chairs, charcoal barbecue.

Pets:  Pine Lodge welcomes one well behaved dog @ £25.00 per dog per week or part thereof.
