Casa Piablo, a 3-bedroom 3-bathroom villa with swimming pool, is ideally suited for family groups. It is located in Cabeço das Pias, close to Carvoeiro. Sesmarias is just 200m away with a few cafés, restaurants and also a convenience store.
Bon Bon, a Michelin-star restaurant is just 15 metres up the road with local restaurants within walking distance serving international cuisine.
The professionally-cleaned accommodation consists of three air-conditioned bedrooms; one twin bedroom with a bathroom across the hallway and two bedrooms with double beds, both with en-suite bathrooms.
The large open-plan living/dining area includes a log-burning fire, a flat-screen television with access to British channels and free Wi-Fi. The fully-fitted and equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc.
The villa has a fenced garden with plenty of covered terrace that offers comfortable seating and a large area for al-fresco dining together with a gas barbecue.
The villa sleeps six people and is 165m². There are electric gates and the driveway leads to a carport offering off-road parking. Air conditioning is available throughout the property which also provides heat during the winter.
The swimming pool has a terraced space surrounding it, to the rear of the villa, with an outdoor shower. There is also a raised pergola in the garden that covers a firepit with comfortable seating around it.
The village of Carvoeiro is a short drive away and offers a host of cafés, bars, shops, numerous superb restaurants, a beach and various activities such as boat trips to the vast array of caves and caverns in the area, a scuba diving centre, kayaking, pedaloes and much much more. The village also hosts many open-air musical events throughout the summer months.
Lagoa is also very close with several large supermarkets where you can stock up on favourite items and a modern shopping mall with clothes shops, domestic outlets and restaurants is 20-minutes away.
There are two water parks within a 10-minute drive of the property with the theme park Zoomarine not far away, just a 15-minute drive. Zoomarine's main attractions include exhibitions by dolphins, seals and sea lions, an aquarium with sharks, 4D cinema, various rides, attractions and swimming pools. The theme park is also a reception for injured wild aquatic animals that are released back into the wild once they have recuperated.
If you are an animal lover, Lagos Zoo is also only a 30- to 40-minute drive away with the monkey islands being a great favourite with children.
We strongly advise you to take out comprehensive travel insurance including cancellation cover, personal belongings and public liability.
No stag/hen parties or similar groups are allowed.
No excessive noise between the hours of 11pm (23h00) and 7am (07h00).

Good location with restaurants and small supermarket within walking distance. All the bathrooms have been recently updated in a modern style. Plenty of outside space for our family group of 6 adults though some of the seating/sunloungers require a bit of tlc. Enjoyed our stay and hope to return at some point as we enjoy the family atmosphere of the Carvoeiro area.

Though I don't think I would go back to the Algarve (too touristy), I would go back to this house anytime. If only I could move it around with me. Very comfortable with everything you need. Great pool, great layout, great privacy.

The house is great, everything is there: nice garden, great pool, lovely place to sit outside.
There is some noise from the restaurant nearby when guests are leaving.
