WE CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE A LAKE IN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY, as the Wiesensee had to be drained in 2023 for safety reasons.

For guests who wish for water in the area: The "Westerwälder Seenplatte" is about a 10-minute drive away, and these lakes have water and are suitable for swimming (fee applies).
For all guests who love nature, the Westerwald offers very beautiful walking and hiking trails for a restful, relaxing, and nature-connected holiday.
"Tír na nÓg" is a cozy, fully furnished mobile home with a fenced garden, located at "Campingplatz am Wiesensee" in Stahlhofen am Wiesensee.
Families with children are just as welcome as four-legged companions.
We offer a family-friendly holiday atmosphere where families, dogs, their owners, can relax, play, and experience exciting adventures.
Naturally, the mobile home is equipped with extensive basic amenities (pots, dishes, cutlery, etc.), a TV, and free Wi-Fi.
The two bedrooms, "Beltane" and "Samhain," are complemented by a sofa bed in the living room, which can be converted into an additional double bed with a few simple steps.
The Wiesensee is only a few minutes' walk away (approx. 150m) and invites you to hike and relax.
Unfortunately, even in the 2025 season, the Wiesensee will likely not be able to be filled due to safety reasons!
However, we have some other beautiful lakes in the vicinity (Westerwälder Seenplatte, approx. 15 minutes away by car).
Here, our guests will find many opportunities for leisure activities. – Whether hiking trails of all difficulty levels or easy walks, there is something for every nature lover.
Furthermore, many interesting excursion destinations await exploration.
Among other things, you can go fishing, surfing, sailing, pedal boating, golfing, horseback riding, rail biking, skiing, flying, and skydiving.
Also noteworthy is the nearby Stöffel-Park, which attracts visitors with constantly changing events. Additional information is available from the "Wällerland" tourist information office, at www.westerwald.info, and of course, we are happy to provide individual leisure tips on-site. Duvets and pillows are provided for both bedrooms. However, we kindly ask you to bring the following items yourself: Duvet cover or sleeping bag Towels Duvet and towel packages can be provided for an additional one-time fee of €15 per person. The mobile home has 2 double bedrooms.
Additionally, for an extra charge of €5.00 per night, 2 more people can stay in the living room (the seating area can be converted into a double bed with a few simple steps). For pets, we charge an additional fee of €2.50 per animal per night. We kindly request that you arrive between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Departure should be by 12:00 PM at the latest. A deposit of €100 is required upon arrival.

Vorab die Begrüßung und Kommunikation über WhatsApp hat mir sehr gefallen. Alles lief so reibungslos und unkompliziert. Das Homemobile ist optimal ausgestattet, sauber und gemütlich. Wir waren für fünf Tage als Mutter mit drei fast erwachsenen Mädchen als Kurzurlaub da und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Sehr gerne bald wieder. :)
Es gibt echt keinerlei Beanstandungen.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und die Vermieter ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Auch die Nachbarschaft ist sehr nett und man gut ins Gespräch kommen.
Die Atmosphäre auf dem Campingplatz ist sehr angenehm und in der zugehörigen Gaststätte trifft man ebenfalls freundliche Leute und man kann dort gut essen.
