Two modern, recently rebuilt (2000 and 2012) holiday cottages on a country estate, with shared indoor pool, gym and hot tub in the green outdoor area

This romantic country estate is surrounded by green nature just outside the historic village of Hasting along the south coast of England, within walking distance of the picturesque Covehurst Bay. Here you can experience and enjoy lush coastal landscapes and the traditional English way of life.

The two holiday cottages were recently rebuilt in 2000 and are accordingly modernly equipped for a comfortable stay.

The outdoor area is shared between the two cottages and the main house, which is occupied by the landlord. The indoor pool is also available for communal use during your stay. Active holidaymakers can let off steam in the fitness room and then relax in the whirlpool in the green garden area. And the barbecue area next to it invites you to enjoy long meals in the open air. If you arrive by car, you can use the secure parking spaces directly in front of the cottages in the enclosed grounds.

And although the landlord in the main house right next door is of course always concerned about your privacy, he is always happy to help you with any questions.

The holiday cottages are located about 1 km from the nearest long sandy beach in Covehurst Bay, which is also within easy walking distance: a 15-minute walk through a nature reserve. Just down the road, about 100 metres away, a bus stop offers regular services to the beach and Hastings (about 4.8 km away). In the centre of Hastings you have a choice of Merry-Old-England leisure activities: treat yourself to a portion of fish and chips (freshly caught) after a long day at the beach, meet up for afternoon cream tea in one of the quaint cafes or hear about the myths of Devon in the pub in the evening.

The cottage consists of a light-flooded living and dining area with an integrated, open-plan kitchen, a spacious bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom, a second loft bedroom and an additional, separate bathroom. The living area is furnished with a cosy sofa, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with satellite reception, a DVD player, a stereo system and a round wooden dining table with four chairs. As you would expect, the white fitted kitchen has only the latest appliances, including a dishwasher, ceramic hob with elegant stainless steel extractor bonnet, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. In the first bedroom you will find a 200 cm x 200 cm double bed and the loft bedroom is furnished with two 90 cm x 200 cm single beds, which can also be pushed together to form another double bed. The en-suite bathroom has a modern shower cubicle, a washbasin with wall mirror, a hairdryer and a toilet. In the separate bathroom next to the living area you will find the same facilities, except that there is also a bathtub with shower attachment. The washing machine in the entrance area provides additional convenience. A high chair for a child and a safe for your valuables are available, sufficient bed linen and towels are provided and reliable Wi-Fi internet access is also offered free of charge in your holiday cottage.

The living area opens into your private conservatory. Here you can make yourself comfortable at the table and chairs and enjoy long barbecue evenings.

And if you don't want to go on holiday without your pet, they are also welcome here on request. Dogs can run free in the fenced grounds.
