Snuggle up in the handcrafted king-sized box bed in the cabin, solar lamps and log burning stove provides a romantic glow and keep the place so cosy and warm.
Nowhere could be better placed for discovering the diverse choice of culture & heritage sites, museums and galleries, cycling & walking routes, parks and gardens. Situated on the edge of your own private lake, surrounded by woodlands and open fields, you may sense you’re a world away from the fast pace of life, yet you’re only a 20 minute drive from Liverpool or Chester.
With no wifi or electricity on-site, guests are encouraged to switch off and spend time soaking away the evenings in the wood-fired hot tub or cooking over the open fire. Glamping toilets have moved on to a completely new level here! I don't want to spoil the surprise but just open the chest of drawers in the luxury hand-built toilet hut.
Tired of the same old kitchen at home, why not try cooking a roast chicken over the fire pit using the Kadai cooker. A well equipped outside camp kitchen beside the cabin has a gas burner, industrial-sized gas BBQ, fridge and running hot water.
Lazy Bear is just a few minutes from Burton Marsh where you can join the National Cycle route along the Wirral Way, a traffic-free, flat tarmac route, taking you along the Dee estuary, one of the UK’s premier wetland birding locations. Why not hire a bike (in advance to be delivered) and explore the Wirral!
