Downedge is approached via its own private driveway to a large turning circle with plenty of space for cars to park.
Inside, the accommodation includes six bedrooms, four bathrooms, 3 bedrooms enjoy en-suite facilities, four reception rooms, some with open fireplaces, all with large windows filling the house with natural light.
Downstairs there is a comfortable living room with an open fireplace and garden views, there is a music room, a children's play room, a formal dining room and a fabulous family kitchen.
The kitchen has a gas range cooker, wooden work surfaces, a farmhouse kitchen table with plenty of seating and opens straight out to the massive garden.
There is a separate utility room and larder and a downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs there are six large bedrooms, three with en-suite bathrooms and a further shower room downstairs. Outside the mature gardens are totally secluded with a lovely decked area for enjoying meals al fresco just by the kitchen as well as a newly completed games room with full size American Pool table and table tennis tables, there is a useful fridge freezer here too. Downedge is a large, comfortable family house where we walked through the door and immediately felt at home. \r\nThe kitchen is very well equipped. \r\nOur three generation family of 10 had plenty of space for eating, sleeping and socialising.

Lovely house to celebrate a 70th birthday with 3 generations, beds all comfy and kitchen perfect for large family meals. Very well equipped. Games room was well used.\r\nWe visited in November and the house was well heated and we had real fires and the logs were all provided.\r\n

Our multi-generational family group enjoyed having plenty of space inside and outside the property. The large kitchen table was brilliant for family meals. The house was well equipped with everything we needed to accommodate, entertain and cater for everyone.
