Farm Cottage makes for a great holiday location and perfect for families with its convenient ground floor bedroom and shower room. The cottage is full of character with a cosy log burning stove in the living room and characterful features and tasteful decoration throughout. The village of Nancledra is a great spot from which to explore West Cornwall, and both the South and North Coasts with their beautiful beaches and coves.
The property is set on a farm in a wooded valley only three miles from the popular fishing harbour of St Ives and its neighbour Carbis Bay. The 300 year old cottage has been beautifully converted retaining many character features but with the benefit of modern fixtures and fittings. On the ground floor can be found the living space with a separate dining area that comfortably seats five, a cosy living room with its large characterful fireplace, kitchen and the downstairs bedroom with shower room & WC.
Up the stairs can be found the galleried bedroom with super king bed that can be separated into twin beds upon request, fitted wardrobe and drawer units. There is also the family bathroom with over-bath shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail
All heat/power is included as well as a starter pack of logs for the stove. The bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are also provided. The owners also kindly leave a welcome pack for guests with locally-sourced goodies. Guests can enjoy an external utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a patio with garden furniture. There is a large lawned garden with seating, barbecue area and summerhouse which is shared with the other farm cottages.
There is private, off-road parking for two cars and a travel cot and highchair are available on request.
Located on the edge of the village, Farm Cottage is within easy reach of St Ives, with its huge selection of independent shops, art galleries and restaurants, and the stunning north coast. Marazion is just 6 miles away on the south coast and is home to the iconic St Michael’s Mount and its two wonderful beaches. The historic port of Penzance, the fishing harbour of Newlyn and the pretty fishing village of Mousehole are just a few of the amazing towns and villages which are well worth visiting. The local shop is within 1 mile, the pub is only a few minutes walk away and there are numerous restaurants all within a short radius.

Hosts were brilliant people. The facilities in the cottage were excellent and it was lovely and clean. Nice touch with a welcome pack and items for a Cornish cream tea. Location was excellent. All the facilities were what you need on a holiday in a cottage. Onsite parking was good.

Our Farmcottage stay was a dream ! The cozy atmosphere, with fireplace and lovely kitchen, made it the perfect retreat after a day exploring and hiking. It is super located between Penzance and St.Yves. Our furry baby loved it too.

This property although pretty has an issue with damp that makes the lower level bedroom uninhabitable with over a 75% reading on dehumidifier.
The owners tried to correct it but it was pointless. Serious modifications need to be done to make the 2nd bedroom suitable for sleeping in
