The Granary

A traditional barn conversion within the New Forest National Park, just a short distance from Ringwood. Set on a working farm with other converted farm buildings, it offers comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to four guests.





The Granary is a semi-detached barn conversion, laid out over two levels and formed around a courtyard of other similarly converted buildings. Along with The Dairy, The Barn and The Stable, it also allows the option for a larger family gathering or where grandparents may prefer their own private holiday space as part of a multi-generational holiday.


This family-friendly holiday cottage in the New Forest has a large living room with kitchen area, along with a woodburning stove and underfloor heating throughout for a cosy stay in the winter months. The kitchen area is fully equipped and comes with a fitted dishwasher. There are two bedrooms; the double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the twin bedroom has a separate shower room. The Granary overlooks a courtyard where there is outside seating as well as offering views over the paddock.


The Granary is located on a small working farm on the western edge of the New Forest National Park, and within a couple of miles of Ringwood. The picturesque village of Burley is only five miles away, in the heart of the park where New Forest ponies are frequently found.


Ringwood and beyond


Upper Kingston is just two miles from the centre of Ringwood, an historic Market town located on the River Avon and on the edge of the New Forest National Park. It is an ideal touring base for visiting the south coast of England and surrounding area.


It is well placed on the Avon Valley path, a 34 mile walk from the Cathedral city of Salisbury to Christchurch Priory on the south coast. Ringwood has long been associated with beer making, and Ringwood Brewery just a mile away offers brewery tours. For an action packed holiday then Ringwood has plenty to offer. At Moors Valley Country Park you can take a Segway Forest Safari or zip wire through the trees. At Blashford Lakes just a short drive away, the Ellingham Water ski club organises water skiing, wake boarding and even a ride on an inflatable banana. At New Forest Activities in Beaulieu you can enjoy Archery, kayaking, raft building or take a bushcraft course, and throughout the New Forest horse riding and bike hire can be organised.


At the Ski Centre just a few miles away, you can learn to ski, or ride a ski bob or ringo down the slopes. The sandy beaches of Bournemouth are just 9 miles away and Sandbanks with its Blue Flag award can be reached in 13 miles. At Hengistbury Head Beach and Nature Reserve there is a land train that takes you to Mudeford beach, with its picturesque beach huts.
