Dock Tarn Lodge near Ambleside is a beautiful south-facing lodge situated towards the top-end of an established woodland estate where sightings of red squirrels, roe deer and an abundance of birdlife are common.
The spacious open-plan lodge offers two bedrooms, a double and a twin, both with built-in cupboards and electric wall-mounted heaters. The living area, with sofas, leads to the L-shaped kitchen, well-equipped with plenty of storage and the dining table. Patio doors from the living area open onto the welcoming patio area and outside furniture.
Outside, the garden area is enclosed with wooden fencing, ideal for dogs. The estate itself is family-friendly, and several walks lead directly from the Estate, including Loughrigg Fell and Loughrigg Tarn, Elterwater, Skelwith Bridge and more if you head up into the Langdale Valley.
