Merlins is a modern five-bedroom house, accepting dogs and with parking for two cars.
A short walk from the beautiful and often deserted mile long stretch of the golden sands at Porthkidney and the West of Cornwall Golf Club, around the bay from St Ives and within a short drive of St Michael’s Mount, Gwithian and Godrevy, Merlins is perfectly situated to explore the whole of the West Cornwall Peninsula and to take advantage of the huge array of arts, cultural, sporting and outdoor activities that are on offer.
Within easy walking distance there is a variety of pubs, restaurants and cafes to sample local delights. The spacious open-plan lounge and dining area provides the perfect setting for spending quality time with family and friends.
The lounge features a Smart TV and plenty of comfortable seating, creating a welcoming space to relax.
The adjoining dining area includes a large table that seats up to ten, ideal for family meals and social gatherings.
Patio doors lead directly out to the courtyard garden, where outdoor seating offers a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring.
The well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for a self-catered stay, including an integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, and microwave.
There is also the added convenience of a separate utility room with a washing machine and WC. Just off the hallway, a dedicated study provides a quiet space for those who may need to work during their stay.
When work is done, guests can also enjoy a selection of books and games available for everyone to use. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with king size bed and TV. There is a walk-in wardrobe with drawers and an en-suite with shower, wash hand basin and WC. Also situated on this floor, is the second bedroom with double bed and the third bedroom with two single beds.
Both rooms have hanging space and ample storage.
The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, wash hand basin and WC. On the top floor there are two further bedrooms one with a king size bed and the other room has two single beds.
There is a further bathroom with bath with shower over, wash hand basin and WC. To the front of the property there is a small front garden with seating for two to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the world go by. The courtyard has a BBQ and seating to while away the time planning your next day’s adventures.
To the rear of the property there is a parking space and a garage for a second car if needed. At A Glance Gas Central Heating Baby Equipment Provided – Fixed Stair Gate Two Well Behaved Dogs are Welcome – A £20.00 charge per dog per week applies unattended or allowed on any furniture.
Please note that dogs must not be left in the holiday home. On-Site Parking for Two Cars - Parking space dimensions are 2.2m wide and 4.5m long.

The house has a good layout, nicely proportioned and is in a good location. It was clean and tidy, with only a few things that didn't work as they should.
Check after an 8 hour journey with 2 small children of 5 pm - horrible

The beaches
Over grown garden at front and smelly, weedy, shockingly basic back garden.
Rubbish had to be picked up - had bleach the outside area to back smelled of dog urine! My dogs not used to sitting in that!
£3000 stay for 1-week! ☹️

The house is beautiful, stylish and attractive decor. Loads of room for all of us . The master suite has a super king sized bed, the mattress is so comfortable. There is a huge walk in wardrobe , and ensuite with a really good shower. There are also two other bathrooms , each with bath and over bath...
The outside area is very small, and the house is very close to all other properties. The garage door was too narrow for my daughter in law to get her car in and It was only a VS golf. Other parking is available at cost of £3.50 a day.
I did think it would be nearer to The beach.
