The fabulous Pig Pod is designed with families in mind. A modern Glamping Pod complete with heating, mains electricity and plumbed in facilities plus stunning views overlooking Underbarrow and further to Scout Scar.
Situated within the Lake District National Park, High Gregg Hall Farm in Underbarrow is just 15-minutes drive from Windermere and 10-minutes from Kendal. A 5-minute walk away is the popular Black Labrador Pub, which offers fantastic food and a great choice of ales.
A Dog is welcome with an extra charge of £25.00 per stay. Note: Please bring your own pet towels and Dog bedding. We also ask that you clean up after your dog. Thank you.

The Pig Pod is situated on a working farm in the beautiful Lyth Valley which falls within the Lake District National Park. Just 5 miles from the market town of Kendal, the village of Underbarrow is very rural with stunning scenery. Two pubs, The Black Labrador and the Punch Bowl at Crosthwaite are both just a short stroll away along the country lane. Both offer excellent food and real ales Glamping Pod complete with heating, mains electricity and plumbed in facilities plus stunning views overlooking Underbarrow and further to Scout Scar. A relaxing get away from the busy town or city life.

We stayed for two nights in the pig pod. It was extremely comfortable and cosy. Children loved the built in bunk beds. Great location with wonderful views and quick access to the heart of the lakes.
Enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the fire pit.
Wonderful stay and will visit again.
