About the Host
The thatched "Haus am Wattenmeer" is located directly on the Wadden Sea of Steenodde on Amrum, the smallest village on the island of Amrum.
There is a restaurant in the village and a farm shop in the neighboring village of Süddorf.
Further shopping facilities are available in Wittdün or Nebel.
Steenodde has no public bus connection.
The nearest bus stop is in Süddorf (approx. 1km away).
Steenodde has a small beach where swimming is possible depending on the tide.
The large Kniepsand beach is about 2km away.
Only a few steps separate the house from the small dike and the Wadden Sea.
The house has a large garden that is shared, and garden tables and chairs are provided. Conditions/Extras Towels, bed linen, and final cleaning are included in the overnight price.
The tourist tax is charged separately.
One dog is allowed to travel.
WLAN is offered as a free service, but there is no guarantee of availability. Directions Ferry crossing from Dagebüll (car ferry, approx. 120 min journey) Information at www.faehre.de or passenger ferry from Nordstrand or Hönrum Sylt (April - October) Information at www.adler-schiffe.de After arriving by ferry in Wittdün/Amrum, follow the island road for approx. 3km until Süddorf, then turn right into Hark-Olufs-Wai towards Steenodde.
After about 1 km you will reach Steenodde, follow the road until the curve and then turn right and take the first driveway on the left to Haus am Wattenmeer No. 22 (follow the course of the stone wall to the house's parking lot).
Your hosts will expect you there for key handover for house No. 22.
The apartment is available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival and until 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
If arriving without a car, a transfer by the host is possible by prior arrangement.

Das Haus hat eine spitzen Lage direkt mit Blick auf das Watt. Die Gastgeber sind super lieb. Und die Wohnung ist traumhaft schön. Ich komme gerne wieder, weil man sich einfach wohlfühlt.
Altes Reetgedecktes Haus in wunderschöner Lage direkt am Meer.

Das Haus war mit allem sehr gut ausgestattet was man braucht. Vom Frühstücktisch aus hat man direkten Blick aufs Meer. Sehr nette Vermieter, unser Hund 🐕 war sehr willkommen und auch kostenlos, zudem war Familie Bohn sehr hilfsbereit. Alles im allen kann ich dieser Unterkunft 10⭐️ Sterne geben. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.
