Many historical structures like the Church of Saint John Evangelist (7 minutes), Frescobaldi tower, Medici Villa (16 minutes) on the River Arno are testament its prosperity and cultural significance while the Museum of Ceramics (5 minutes) and the Archaeological Museum retell the story of its glorious past.
The traditional cuisine of the town includes locally produced wines.
Pan Bistugio is a must-try dessert in this part of the world. De rust ,ruimte/omgeving en gemoedelijkheid van de eigenaren.
De weg er naar toe is onverhard. Dat was bekend, maar we wisten niet dat de weg ook erg steil is. Dit is wel een dingetje om rekening mee te houden.
