Our 79 m² holiday flat "Sonnenwinkel" is located in the heart of the Barßel and Saterland recreation area in the northern tip of the Lower Saxony district of Cloppenburg.

Our holiday flat, newly built in 2021, is located on an idyllic lake in a small holiday home settlement on the edge of the forest in the village of Harkebrügge.

On two floors, with two bedrooms, bathroom with shower and toilet, there is enough space for up to six people (the 6th sleeping accommodation is a travel cot for babies/toddlers).

On the ground floor, the holiday flat offers a light-flooded living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and a high-quality living area with guest bed function as well as a smart TV and Amazon Echo. There is also a bedroom with double beds (1.8 x 2 m) on the ground floor. The bathroom with a walk-in shower and WC, a washer-dryer and baby changing facilities is located opposite the bedroom. There is also a storage room below the stairs.

The highlight of the holiday flat is the spacious sauna on the upper floor, which you can use free of charge.

On the upper floor you will also find a bright, spacious additional bedroom with two single beds (0.9 x 2 m), which invites the youngest members of the family to play extensively. The VELUX CABRIO™ skylight creates a balcony-like roof exit in no time at all and thus offers a wonderful view over the roofs of the neighbouring houses towards the bathing lake. You will also find a Smart TV here. If required, an additional sleeping option can be created with a high-quality folding guest bed (90 x 200 cm).

You can also book our baby package for your baby/toddler. This consists of a high-quality travel cot (60 x 120 cm), matching children's mattress including sheets and bed linen, changing table, high chair, bathroom stool / toilet ring, pop-up playpen, socket night light and stair gate.

In fine weather you can enjoy the fresh air of the north on the covered south-facing terrace, which is equipped with comfortable garden furniture and a gas barbecue. Bicycles, for example, can be safely stored in the equipment room.

In bad weather, we offer a selection of games and books. In the holiday flat you will find a folder with operating instructions & a guest folder with the most important information about your stay in our house (we will also send you this digitally by email before your holiday). As a special service, we also have a brochure wall with flyers for your activities.

Our holiday flat is furnished to a high standard and modern and offers all the amenities that promise a relaxing holiday. The triple-glazed plastic windows are fitted with electric external blinds. Further amenities include underfloor heating, a ventilation system with heat recovery, a large sliding door in the living room and white interior doors. You also have WiFi (fibre optic) throughout the flat.
It offers you plenty of space and peace and quiet to spend a relaxing holiday with the whole family. Thanks to our electronic door lock with key code you are flexible in your arrival.

Harkebrügge is located near Oldenburg (25 km), Bad Zwischenahn (20 km), Papenburg (38 km), North Sea (80 km) and Dutch border (60 km).

In the centre of Harkebrügge you will find a bakery, Edeka market, butcher's shop, pharmacy, petrol station, banks (Sparkasse and Volksbank), steakhouse and two snack bars. The distance to the centre of Barßel is about 6 km. There you will find further shopping facilities, restaurants and a boat harbour with a great playground for children. Canoe tours are also offered from Barßel to Harkebrügge.

There is a barefoot park in the immediate vicinity of the lake. Walks around the lake and adventurous forest trails are particularly worth mentioning here.
