The beach is only a few minutes walk and there are many bars, restaurants and shops nearby. In the town of La Mata you will find many shops. If you do not have a car, there is a bus that goes from La Mata directly to the center of Torrevieja to enjoy a small town with a port. La Mata is mainly characterized by the fact that it is not so crowded and everything is even more original in the Spanish style. Above all, it is the beautiful beach that attracts many here. The weekly market is Wednesday and also nearby.
