The site attracts spectacular wildlife, including red squirrels, deer and a wonderful variety of birds. A short distance from the self-catering lodge is the beautiful Loughrigg Tarn (a view featured in the famous Miss Potter film).


The Lodges sits higher than many other lodges and therefore benefit from superb views through the trees and onto the falls beyond. The lodge has been beautifully improved and upgraded recently and now offers a superb fitted kitchen alongside the bright open-plan living area. Two bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, a bathroom and two car parking spaces. The lodge has a spacious decking area and a large wild-garden plot.
