The village is a 5-minute drive from Hillside Holiday Home and has a selection of amenities including a grocery shop, petrol station, traditional Irish pubs, and several restaurants. Things to do in the local area: - Kerry Walk Walking trail - Ring of Kerry scenic drive - Killarney National Park - Muckross House, Gardens & Traditional Farm - McGillycuddy Reeks Mountain Range: including Irland’s highest Mountain – Carrauntoohill. - Killarney Golf & Fishing Club - Dingle Town & Dingle Peninsula - Skellig Islands - Torc Waterfall & Torc Mountain - Killarney Riding Stables - Killarney Distillery IMPORTANT NOTES1. Heating and Electricity: This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner.
In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid.
We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager before arrival how this is calculated or before making the booking. 2. Security Deposit: A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner.

The beautiful scenery, and location allowed for the country experience that was close amenities while give the feel of being in the country. The house it self was beautiful and was as if you step back in time in some areas but had the comforts of a modern home.

This property was hidden away from the road up a hill and very quiet. We all loved the views and the charm of the stone cottage. It is close to Killarney where we were attending an event. There is lots to do in the area or just enjoy the peace and quiet. We hated to leave.
