Mere Lodge is a gorgeous two-bedroom lakefront lodge with uninterrupted views across Windermere and onto the fell's beyond. The Lake District lodge has been beautifully decorated to a very high standard to offer high-spec holiday accommodation for friends or families.
Situated on the 5* Fallbarrow Park in Bowness-on-Windermere, you are just a short walk to the various bars, restaurants, cafes, and of course, the boats. Guests are welcome to bring along kayaks or canoes, which you may launch directly in front of the lodge. The outside patio is spacious, with outside tables and chairs provided. The on-site bar and restaurant are a short stroll away from the lodge in the park.
The park benefits from nearby attractions, amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. From Bowness, you can hop on board one of the Windermere Lake Cruises that links to Brockhole, Ambleside and Lakeside (at the lake's southern end where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from our lodge was absolutely stunning. The lodge was everything we needed for our stay, very cosy to come back to each day. We loved that we could walk into Bowness and made the most of the shops, restaurants and the ferry too. With two teenagers in our part...
