Perfectly located to explore and enjoy the North Norfolk coast, Honey Barrel Cottage is tucked away at the end of a quiet private drive, offering a peaceful and secluded retreat in the heart of the picturesque village of Stiffkey.
Stiffkey itself is full of charm, with its traditional flint cottages, pantile roofs, and the gentle River Stiffkey—a clear chalk stream—running through the village. Just a short stroll away, you'll find the much-loved Red Lion pub serving great food in a relaxed setting, as well as the popular Stiffkey Stores and Deli, perfect for a morning coffee and something freshly baked in its sunny courtyard.
From your doorstep, footpaths lead directly out into the surrounding countryside and towards the coast, making this an ideal base for walkers and those wanting to explore the area at a slower pace.
The cottage itself is full of character, with lovely original features throughout. On the ground floor, there is a separate dining room overlooking the garden, leading through to a comfortable living room with a beamed ceiling and an inviting fireplace with a log burner—perfect for cosy evenings. The kitchen has a charming retro feel and is well equipped for your stay, and there is also a convenient ground floor shower room.
Upstairs, there is a front-facing double bedroom with exposed beams and a further smaller double bedroom overlooking the garden.
Outside, a private walled garden with a sunny patio provides a quiet space to relax, and there is parking for one car. Please note there is a height restriction on the parking area, so vehicles with roof boxes cannot be accommodated.
One well-behaved dog is welcome, making this a great choice for those looking to enjoy the many walking routes nearby.

Cottage is located right on the main road which can get very busy and traffic noise really disturbing. I left a day early because I couldn't put up with the noise any longer.
