Loved the place, got a fire going and the heating worked fine. You definitely need to work out how to make a fire ( I grew up doing it) if you want to be comfortable.
The living room fire added lots of atmosphere to the house, which has loads of character.

We had a lovely holiday in spite of the rain. The cottage was just as we expected and we were fine with the stairs - only the dog wouldn't go up them until the end of the holiday when she plucked up courage! Wouldn't be good for anyone who isn't fit but we were fine with it. No real shops in the vil...

It was ideal for our requirements, my lovely friends and 2 dogs, we are out door girls and enjoyed exploring the area, the dogs were so happy, we had great fun relaxing by the fire with a glass of wine catching up on our return from the cold outdoors.
