Alnwick with castle, famous for the scenes in Harry Potter, is only a few miles drive.
Travel into the National Park on an evening and sample ‘The Dark Skies’. Easy driving distance to National Trust properties, Cragside and Wallington Hall.

Beech Cottage is in a good location with shops and restaurants within a 10-15 drive.
The cottage was very clean and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The views from the cottage were great.

Albeit some of the decor and furniture was a little dated the cottage itself was very clean and we were made to feel very welcome. I would definitely be happy to recommend.
