The owner was very nice and contacted us before arrival and whilst staying at the cottage. The property is very small but well equipped . You are in easy walking distance of the town centre with a variety of shops and nice places to eat. We were only stopping for a weekend and didn’t find anything that created a major problem .

An excellent base, a nice comfortable cottage in a good location and with excellent weather and good pub “ The Bitter End” round the corner serving excellent food we had a great week. The local people were extremely friendly so would highly recommend cottage and Cockermouth.

Great location, an easy walk into town , plenty of places to eat and drink. Facilities in cottage good, as described parking outside limited in space.
Outside area at back is covered, so eating outside is possible even if it rains
