Walkers will enjoy the many local routes, and there is one from the front door to the River Waveney, which offers a mile of private river fishing, and cyclists can enjoy the national cycle route.

Visit Beccles, a popular market town on the southern broads, where you can watch the waterborne world go by, or hire a boat from a centre close by. Visit Southwold on the Suffolk Heritage Coast, is famous for its brewery and pier.
A visit to medieval Norwich with its castle, cathedral, shopping opportunities and fine restaurants is also not to be missed.
Africa Alive, Bewilderwood and Roar Dinosaur Park are a great day out for the kids.

Lovely homely cottage with everything you need, owner was very welcoming and helpful, location is great for walks and just getting away from everything, lots of shops just a 5 minute drive away. Would definitely look to stay again.

Spacious clean cottage and welcoming hosts
My husband did find it awkward to shower as he had to sit or crouch in the bath due to the steep slope of the ceiling and no curtain or screen
