Millport sports a beautiful sandy beach, with tropical palms fronting the promenade and yachts moored out in the sheltered bay. From here you can explore the charm of a seaside town with café’s, shops and bars and bistro.
A haven for wildlife, Cumbrae attracts migrant birds from around the world, and the flora of the island is equally varied with a visit to the island’s Marine Research Station with museum and aquarium a must.
Millport is also the home of Europe’s smallest cathedral and Britain’s narrowest house.
An ideal location for cycling, walking and golf, and the National Watersports Centre offers courses to suit all aspect of water based activities.
The main Newton Bay offer sheltered anchorages and secure moorings.

Would recommend this cottage for comfort, quality and location. We stayed February to get some relaxation time. This cottage and the island couldn't be better.
The owners also left starter supply and a little fresh loaf, scottish tablet and cookies.
Top notch break on an idyllic island.

A lovely little apartment tucked away on a quiet side street. Very easy booking. Great contact from owners throughout the booking.
Apartment has everything you need in a compact space. Sofa in living area is perhaps ready for replacing as quite uncomfortable (might be too low if any mobility issues) Just a small niggle as otherwise everything really good.

Cracking cottage ..good location just round the corner from shops .pubs .and harbour...plenty of good Mark's for a spot of sea fishing ...cottage clean and very homely. Wood burner a bonus .very cosy ..will deffo be back .
