Located close to Kirkby Lonsdale, there is no end of possisbilities this base can provide.. 2 steps to entrance. Storrs Croft is just 6 miles from the beautiful market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, which offers all the amenities one needs, such as supermarkets, lovely gift shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes.
From St Mary’s Church, there is a breathtaking view across the Lune Valley to the Yorkshire Dales.
It was named ’Ruskins View’ after the artist who captured its beauty.
A few steps away is a 17th century coaching inn, which has oak floors, open fires and real ales.
Also, its proximity to both the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria’s Lake District, together with great access to the motorway network, makes this an ideal touring base, with much to see and do. There are lots of great walks in the area.
Arnside and Silverdale, which form a designated AONB, are within 12 miles.
For the more adventurous, Warton Crag, 8 miles, provides opportunities for hiking, climbing and abseiling.
Warton is also home to Leighton Hall, a historic house with pretty gardens, children’s play area, maze and tea rooms.
It hosts various events throughout the year, such as an outdoor theatre and car rallys.
Other activities available locally include cycling, fishing, horse riding and golf.

The stay was very good the views were fantastic, very clean the Looe in the on suit was very difficult to use in the wrong place, and the TV in the kitchen was not working, I booked the holiday but the key code came to my wife phone and about 1 hour before we got there, but over all had a great time

A wonderful long weekend stay in this idyllic countryside home. We were perfectly placed to the village for a family wedding, the facilities were wonderful plus the fact it's dog friendly. Would 100% stay again!
