This 400-year-old holiday cottage, just yards from quaint shops and tea rooms, a paradise for walkers and cyclists.. Ground Floor:

Please note: There is 1 step in the courtyard. . Dating back 400 years, this beautiful period stone holiday cottage is located in the heart of Eyam, one of the Peak District’s most popular historic and best preserved villages.
It has been beautifully resorted retaining charming period features, with beamed ceilings and a beautiful Derbyshire stone fireplace, complete with multi-fuel stove.
A simply fascinating base, located within yards from quaint local and independently run shops, tea rooms and the famous village pub, which is reputed to be one of the most haunted buildings in Derbyshire.
The surrounding area offers inspiring and varied scenery, with walking and cycling in the beautiful Hope Valley countryside, and stunning views across the Derwent Valley.
Family attractions within easy reach such as the magnificent historic houses of Eyam Hall, located in the centre of the village, Chatsworth Estate, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall and Bolsover Castle.
The bustling market town of Bakewell, famous for its tarts and puddings, and the ever popular spa town of Buxton with its opera house and diverse architecture can be reached within 30 minutes.
Matlock Bath, also known as ’Little Switzerland’, with its cable car rides and other family attractions nearby.

This is a very quaint beautifully furnished cottage. Ideally situated in the village which we found was interesting to walk around. Would definitely return in the future.

Lovely cottage. Clean and tidy. We would stay again. The only things Iwould suggest to change are to have no carpets but something like Amticoor flooring like the bathroom through upstairs (my preference as I have Asthma).The air fresheners may be okay for some but as they are chemical based theymad...

Fantastic, spotlessly clean cottage with all mod cons. Well located for the many attractions the Peak District has to offer. We had a great time and hope to go back again soon.
