For an interesting day out, take a trip to Tenby and indulge in one of the numerous cafés, gift shops or highly acclaimed restaurants tucked away in its historic walls, or wander down to the sandy haven of Harbour Beach, voted Europe’s number one beach in 2014 due to its sheltered bay, golden sands, and crystal blue waters. A trip to the resort would not be complete without taking a boat ride across to the offshore island of Caldey home to its Celtic Monastery and Cistercian monks, or a visit to the award winning leisure attractions of Folly Farm, Oakwood and Anna’s Welsh Zoo, famous for the habitat of Wales’ first ever rhinoceros.
