Private car parking.. Seagulls enjoys far-reaching, spectacular views across the Blakeney salt-marshes from full-length windows in the first floor living room.
It is set at the end of a quiet no-through road with a secluded garden.
Over the road is the village playing field with tennis courts.
Inside, the house is warm, convenient and attractive - practical for families with children, yet well-furnished to be relaxing and comfortable for the older generation.
The well-equipped retro kitchen leads to the dining room which boasts a cosy wood burner. Blakeney Quay is a short walk past the village shop (with bacon for the ever-obliging crabs). From here is access to the marsh or up to the village.
Blakeney is a bird-watcher’s paradise; the coastal path runs in front of the house, there are seals at Blakeney Point, and it is surrounded by beautiful countryside walks.
The historic little town of Holt is close by and offers a range of shops, pubs, restaurants, cafés and weekly markets.
Within a few minutes’ drive is Holt Lowes, an area renowned for wildlife, designated as both a Site of Special Scientific Interest and Special Area of Conservation.
Also worth a visit is Holt Country Park with its wealth of bird life, as well as other RSPB reserves.
The region has several stately homes such as NT Blickling and Felbrigg Halls, Holkham Hall and Houghton Hall.
Other interesting days out include visits to Sheringham Park, and Walsingham Shrine and Priory ruins.
Sheringham offers golf and is home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, Splash aqua pool, a promenade and a pier.
Within easy driving distance is Norwich with its excellent shopping, restaurants, cathedral, theatre, pubs, cinema and markets.
Wells-next-the-Sea is 5 miles and Holkham’s vast sandy beach is just 8 miles.
Windsurfing, dinghy launching, sailing and boat trips are all available locally.

Comfortable, well equipped and in an excellent position with plenty of parking, Seagulls is an ideal holiday destination. The decor is a little dated and the two bathrooms for four bedrooms is workable and compensated for by the view from the lounge window and large garden. Recommended 😀

Another wonderful stay at Seagulls! This was our second visit to this fantastically located house. It has everything to meet our needs including a spacious garden and amazing views. We enjoyed doing the short walk to the beautiful Blakeney Quay every day and the longer walks along the coastal paths near to the house. We love it here- thank you!

Seagulls is a very comfortable holiday cottage. The view from the upstairs lounge is outstanding. The kitchen is well equipped with all that you need. Blakeney Quay is only 5 minutes walk and on the way you pass the Spar store. There are a variety of circular walks from Blakeney.
