A detached cottage for two right by the coast at Glenbarr with fantastic far reaching views towards Gigha and the Paps of Jura.. All on the Ground Floor:

No smoking.. Situated on the Kintyre coastline, this single storey, detached cottage has stunning views over the sea across to Gigha, the Paps of Jura and enjoys magnificent sunsets throughout the year.
It is a tranquil retreat from which to explore the area.
Surrounded by an abundance of natural wildlife, the clean environment and clear waters are home to all sorts of interesting wildlife.
The Machrihanish Bird Observatory is located nearby at Gauldrons beach and is fantastic for watching migratory birds. Campbeltown is one of a handful of towns in Scotland categorised as a whisky producing region, and is home to the Campbeltown Single Malt, at one point having 34 distilleries and proclaiming itself the whisky capital of the world.
The town boasts two distilleries as well as a museum, heritage centre and a harbour, with an annual regatta and music festival.
The town is well-served, with supermarkets, independently owned shops, and excellent hotels and restaurants offering the finest local produce.
The surrounding area is well-known for its fine beaches, unspoilt countryside and scenic walks, with the addition of the Kintyre Way, making this an ideal location from which to explore the Kintyre Peninsula. Lying just off the west coast of Kintyre, the Isle of Gigha offers a pleasant day trip.
Within a short distance, there are many quiet and sandy beaches to explore and there is easy access to the Isles of Islay, Arran and Jura.
Jura is one of the wildest and most mountainous of the Inner Hebrides.
Islay is great for wildlife enthusiasts, as it boasts a large RSPB reserve, a wintering population of barnacle and white-fronted geese, and a wildlife information centre.

Amazing cottage grrat for a break for 2 or, with a new born. Easy access to campbelltown with all the shops, close to kennacraig for ferries, in a quiet area. Fire place makes ot super cosy, but be careful with finding it. Very easy to miss. About 300 yards north from the oocal school. Definately recomend for exploration of beautiful land of Kintyre.

Cottage had everything you would need for self catering. Great base for exploring Kintyre. Toilet didn't flush well, had to a pour basin of water down it a few times. Wifi would be a good addition to the house, which wouldn't be too much of a stretch for the owners as their own home is next to the property.

Enjoyed a stay here with 2 dogs. Welcomed with a bottle of wine and fresh banana loaf. The cottage had nice touches like fresh flowers. Location is great to use it as a base to explore. There aren’t any local pubs close by so if you like a pop in after a long walk be prepared to stock the fridge and have this at home.
Value for money. Beautiful sunset view if your lucky to get the right weather
