Great weekend away in a superb location right across from the village shop. Close to a choice of differents fells, Whinlatter, Keswick and two great local pubs. The cottage is lovely and has a nice homely feeling. It had everything we need to eat in and enjoy our stay. The kids loved it. We hope to stay again one day

Lovely location, lots of walks from the doorstep - walked to Derwent Water and over Catbells , amazing views!Remember to take your own towels ( we forgot!) and wood/coal for the open fire as these are not provided.

Brilliant location. Would stay again and bring mattress toppers as beds not comfortable for us. Shower slow but didn’t bother us. You can’t beat the location and was good value with a well stocked kitchen .
