Braithwaite is only two miles from Keswick, one of the Lake Districts top visitor destinations and lies at the foot of Whinlatter Forest, Causey Pike and Grisedale Pike.
The cottage has parking for two cars, and a small outside seating area and dogs are welcome. Please note: There are open, steep, spiral or narrow stairs at the property. Free WiFi Cot hire £10. Up to two dogs only, at a charge of £20 each. There are open, steep, spiral or narrow stairs at the property. There are large gaps between banister spindles. Braithwaite is a lovely village to stay, surrounded by beautiful hills you can climb from the door and just 3.5 miles from Keswick via Little Braithwaite and Ullock. It also has a fairly good bus service.Beech End is closed to the village shop and The Royal Oak.The cottage is well equipped, has a good heating system and the parking space is a boon. We really enjoyed our few days in Braithwaite.

The cottage was bigger than expected. The TV had limited viewing , but ok. The Garden is tiny and overgrown slightly. The WiFi was poor but we managed its excepted that WiFi in the Lakes can be hit and miss. The cottage was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Having off the road parking is ...

Nice little cottage In a great location. Kitchen door doesn’t fully shut on the latch so keeping our two spaniel’s downstairs was difficult. Shower was very under powered with just a trickle. No heating in bedroom two although the overall cottage was warm. Basic TV not even a smart TV to enable you to cast from your phone so Bullseye it is
