There is a general store in the nearby village of Rosthwaite and two public bars within walking distance.
Derwentwater is three miles and Keswick, with all its visitors attractions is only seven miles.

Good Location for a lot of local walks (Castle Crag, Kings How, Dock Tarn and Tarn at Leaves well worth a visit), Langstrath Country Inn serves Great Food and Ales and the Grange Cafe also with nice food.Looking forward to returning in October to explore the Borrowdale Valley further.

A spotlessly clean cottage in a gorgeous location. We had everything we needed, and plentiful walks from the front door (and a bus stop), plus the bonus of a red squirrel in the garden!
