Climb up to the Abbey ruins for spectacular views, or stroll along the quayside and explore the quaint shops lining the cobbled alleys of this fascinating town.
The railway station is a short walk away with train links to the scenic North York Moors Railway and trips available on the steam trains that pass through the spectacular landscape.
Whitby has shopping facilities, and a wide choice of cafés, pubs and restaurants.
The central heating and hot water are worked off the woodburner, but there is an immersion heater and fan heater that can be moved around the house.
