Tilly Cottage is a charming, terraced former railway cottage lying in the unspoilt hamlet of Greenhead, which nestles in the beautiful Northumbrian countryside.. 1 step to entrance.

Tilly Cottage is beautifully furnished and is extremely cosy and comfortable from the multi-fuel burner in the living/dining room and the modern bathroom, to the sumptuous beds.

Greenhead has a tea room offering light meals, while the local hotel offers hearty homemade meals and a welcome atmosphere where you can enjoy a glass of wine after a day walking, cycling or just taking a leisurely stroll around the local countryside and areas of historical interest.
Greenhead nestles in the North Pennines and lies within the World Heritage Site of Hadrian’s Wall and within a stone’s throw of the Northumberland National Park, yet close to the Cumbrian border.
This former railway cottage is in an ideal location for exploring both Northumberland and Cumbria.
The Pennine Way, the UK’s first National Trail, passes through Greenhead and within a 5-minute walk of the village.
Hadrian’s Wall marches through Walltown Craggs, a much loved beauty spot.

Great cottage in a good location for walking; Hadrian's Wall easy to join, & Pennine Way goes throughvillage too. Cottage very clean, nicely decorated & comfortable. Bus stop nearby. Few miles to a shop.
