For us this was an idyllic location, peace and quiet at it's very best. However, it possibly wouldn't suit everyone. We had done our research so knew exactly what to expect.
Accommodation was excellent apart from downstairs bathroom, but we knew that in advance.
Excellent hosts who live nearby.

Had a fabulous time at well side cottage, really nice welcome box including things for our dog. My sons birthday was while we were away and William gave him a card which was lovely. Our dog loved Peggy. Cottage well equipped with plenty of cooking items. Pub in village was superb, great food and delicious deserts! Great base for exploring. Would definitely recommend.

Homely cottage with lovely garden in stunning location. Fantastic base to explore the area with a huge variety of walks - easy valley strolls or more challenging climbs - direct from the doorstep. Great to have a traditional, welcoming pub in the village serving hearty food. The two of us and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to a future visit.
